Spinal Designs Introduces a LIFEBACK™ Program Designed Specifically for Senior Patients
MINNEAPOLIS, MN—January 18, 2007—Spinal Designs International, Inc., has introduced the LIFEBACK™ Lumbar III Program to help senior patients recover from non-surgical or post-operative chronic back pain.
The program, covered by Medicare, incorporates all the principles of the long-proven, 4-day LIFEBACK Lumbar I Program, but it has been adapted to acknowledge the senior population’s age and physical condition. Senior patients progress toward recovery at an appropriate pace and activity level.
The LIFEBACK Lumbar III program consists of four 60-minute sessions over a four-week period covering four core components: Strengthening/Stabilization, Flexibility Training, Unloading Therapies, and eight Therapeutic Activities.
Senior patients leave the LIFEBACK Spine Rehab Clinic with an individualized LIFEBACK Home Plan that enables them to master their chronic back pain, manage their own recovery, and make wise lifestyle choices thereafter to help prevent re-injury. They’re coached for two years to aid compliance and achieve lasting results.
The LIFEBACK Lumbar III program is available at the Minneapolis*, Maplewood, Owatonna and Alexandria, MN, LIFEBACK Spine Rehab Clinics.
* Minneapolis Clinic location—Medicare Certification in Process
Spinal Designs International licenses
proprietary, evidence-based LIFEBACK Spine Programs to hospitals and
provider clinics as services for their chronic spine patients. These programs treat spinal
disease in its totality through patient-responsible disease
management versus repeated clinician-provided treatments that focus
on symptom management. The programs are available through LIFEBACK
Spine Rehab Clinics in Minnesota and North Dakota. For more information on
