LTX 3000™ Lumbar Rehabilitation System
Spine Rehab Clinics have adopted the LTX 3000™ Lumbar Rehabilitation System as a best practice therapeutic tool to assist with the reduction of low back pain. It is one of three gravity-assisted unloading therapy options available for a patient’s individualized LIFEBACK program. The other two are pool therapy and 90°/90° supine position.
This FDA registered Class 1 medical device is appropriate for the clinical treatment of patients with chronic or episodic low back pain caused by soft tissue disease or injury. The greatest patient benefit has been measured when the device is incorporated as one of several tools in an organized LIFEBACK rehabilitation program.
Patients are introduced to the LTX 3000 system only through a LIFEBACK program. If it is deemed beneficial, it is incorporated into the patient’s individualize home care program. Patients are easily trained on how to effectively use the system in the clinic, at home or at their workplace.
Benefits enabled by the LTX 3000 include:
- reduced low back and lower extremity pain,
- reduced lower extremity numbness and tingling, and
- increased pain-free range of lumbar and sacral motion.
Features of the LTX 3000 allow the patient to:
- stabilize and protect their low back,
- achieve a neutral spine position,
- reduce weight bearing on the injured lumbar and lower extremity area, and
- perform therapeutic movements to improve circulation.

Recommended Use Protocol
- 34 sessions per day,
- 1015 minutes per session,
- clinical use with LIFEBACK program protocol,
- temporary home use within continuing active rehab plan with clinical follow-up (23 months), and
- permanent use may be appropriate for patients with predisposition to recurrence.
